South African Raven Klaasen continued his climb, rising 12 places in the men's doubles rankings to move into a career-best position of 46 on Monday.
Klaasen and American Eric Butorac claimed their first ATP World Tour doubles title as a team, defeating South Americans Pablo Cuevas and Horacio Zeballos to win the ATP Malaysian Open, in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
The country’s top men’s player, Kevin Anderson, remained in 21st place in the ATP singles rankings, while Chani Scheepers clawed her way up two places to 78 in the women’s singles.
