RWC 2023 quarter-final result: France 28 Springboks 29

The Boks will now face England in the semi-finals.

The Springboks beat France 29-28 in one of the most riveting matches at the 2023 Rugby World Cup on Sunday to qualify for the semi-finals, where they will play England next weekend.

In an edge-of-the-seat match that never slowed for intensity and pace and drama, the Boks made it to the last-four and keep alive their hopes of going back to back after winning in Japan in 2019.

Boks replacement back Handre Pollard kicked a 50m penalty in the last 12 minutes to put the Boks four points clear before France got to within one, with five minutes remaining.
