13 players suspended for midweek PSL games

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Monday confirmed the list of players suspended for the midweek Absa Premiership matches.


Baroka FC, Cape Town City and Golden Arrows are the hardest hit with two suspensions each.

Mamelodi Sundowns will be without Gaston Sirino when they host AmaZulu at Loftus Stadium tonight. The Uruguayan attacker starts his suspension for his red card against Golden Arrows in the Telkom Knockout semifinal on Saturday.

Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele will also sit out this evening clash against Polokwane City as he is completing his two-match ban for a red card against Maritzburg United.

Erick Mathoho has not travelled to Cape Town with the Kaizer Chiefs squad to face Stellenbosch FC because he is still serving his two-match suspension after he was sent off in a Soweto derby against Pirates.
