Khune failed to save a penalty in the 5-3 shootout defeat to Matsatsantsa a Pitori in the quarterfinals of the competition to FNB Stadium on Saturday night.
Following the defeat some disgruntled Chiefs fans took to Twitter to voice their displeasure at Khune for failing to stop penalties.
The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper responded to the negative backlash by asking God to bless the ‘bitter’ fans, saying their insults did not define him.
“Getting insulted on Twitter😊.that doesn’t define me but those who are bitter and angry about their lives. GodBlessYouAll🙌🏻,” wrote Khune on his Twitter account.

@sbahle_mpisane your the reason Khune didn’t save those penalties! She was thinking about that beautiful body instead of saving the balls!
