Micho proud of his players despite Ajax loss

Bucs’ dominance over Ajax at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday night was not enough for Sredojevic’s charges to walk away with a victory.

“I gave hugs to every player because they played according to instructions. They really wanted to win the game, I can see it from their body language and I cannot take anything away from their effort,” the Buccaneers coach told the media after the match.
Pirates will be looking to redeem themselves from their first loss in five games when they host Maritzburg United at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
