It’s Chiefs or Sundowns for Andile Jali

Andile Jali’s agent, Mike Makaab, has confirmed that the race for the midfielder’s signature is now between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Speaking at Igagasi FM, Makaab said it is now up to Jali to decide between the two teams.

“Both Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs have made incredible offers. The two offers are so similar financially. They have also indicated the sort of period they are willing to take him on. And again, it’s exactly the same,” Makaab said.

“Hopefully we’ll make a decision before the end of this month. Both deals are on the table. It’s up to Andile now to make a decision, but whatever club he chooses to play for, we’ll be happy. So’ it’s going to be a very interesting 72 hours,” he added.

As reported by Phakaathi earlier, Chiefs currently lead the race for the Bafana Bafana midfielder. But such is the nature of South African football that he could well end up at Sundowns.
