WATCH: Banyana star partners with La Liga to help women
Banyana Banyana striker Thembi Kgatlana earlier this week announced a new partnership with La Liga to help women’s football development in Kgatlana’s hometown of Mohlakeng.

The reigning African woman footballer of the year through her foundation, the Thembi Kgatlana Foundation, and her sponsors La Liga donated 200 balls at her former high school AB Phokompe, with 100 balls being given to all the girls that play soccer at the school.
During the announcement, Kgatlana gave a motivational talk to the pupils at the school, telling them not to give up on their dreams, saying they must work hard on their studies and opportunities will come for them.
