Assistant referee slammed for being a Chiefs ‘supporter’
Images of what look like assistant referee Marvin Van Wyk wearing a Kaizer Chiefs Jersey have been doing the rounds on social media after Amakhosi beat AmaZulu in a controversial league game on Tuesday afternoon.

Van Wyk was one of match officials for this game and he twice disallowed Usuthu goals when he raised his flag for offside, but TV replays showed that he may have wrongly made these calls.
After the game, pictures of what look like the assistant referee wearing a Chiefs jersey started trending on social media, with fans questioning the officials motive in a match that saw AmaZulu lose their fourth match in sixth league games in the 2019/20 campaign.
