Billiat robbed at filling station in Kyalami

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Khama Billiat was held hostage at an Engen convenient store in Kyalami on Tuesday night.


The Warriors talisman lost his wallet and watch in the robbery but was unhurt in the incident.

It is reported by Sunday World that the current Premier Soccer League Footballer of the Year was at the filling station to buy prepaid electricity, the six gunmen took money from the ATM at the petrol station before robbing Billiat.

“It’s very unfortunate and sad that such crimes occur in our country. We are very happy though that Karma is not injured or harmed in anyway,” said Sundowns spokesman Thulani Thuswa.

“I spoke to him not so long ago and he is also happy to have escaped with his life,” said Thuswa.
