Chiefs can’t stop us – Gome
Platinum Stars midfielder Wangu Gome is adamant Dikwena will emerge victorious against wounded Kaizer Chiefs when they clash at the FNB Stadium this Sunday afternoon.

Dikwena and Chiefs experienced contrasting fortunes in their last matches with Roger De Sa’s men winning against Polokwane City and Steve Komphela’s charges losing to Chippa United.
The need for redemption is likely to fuel the Chiefs, but Gome says his side will be resolute in their quest for maximum points.
“It won’t be an easy game but we can come out victorious. We have to come out with a victory because we can’t be dropping points anymore. With the right attitude, we will get the three points. The last win brought so much relief and belief. Players are starting to believe that we can come out of this situation. We need to take that belief to the next game,” said Gome.

“Chiefs lost the last game and they will come out hungry, but we have to be hungrier than them because of where we are. Our hunger, attitude and fighting spirit will win us the game. We are resurrected and we will stay alive.”
With Dikwena at the bottom of the Absa Premiership table, Gome says he and his teammates have to be willing to die with their boots on in order to move from the danger zone.
“We need to man up and show character. For us, as players, to come out of the situation, we need to unite and fight, but it’s not easy. I believe we will make it out of relegation,” said the Namibian international.
Gome has so far played two matches after recovering from injury. He signed for Dikwena during the January transfer window. He is happy to be on the field of play.
“After sometime out because of injury, I am happy to be getting game time. It will just improve me as a player. I hope I can help the team come out of the situation that it is now in.”
