Chiefs striker out for the remainder of the year

Kaizer Chiefs striker Ryan Moon will be out of action for the remainder of the year with a jaw injury.

“Moon has injured his jaw,” Chiefs’ first team physiotherapist Dave Milner told the club’s website. “He is not taking part in training at the moment and will remain under scrutiny until the pain subsides.”

Coach Steve Komphela, however, will be happy with the return of Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Kgotso Moleko and Teenage Hadebe after the trio reunited with their mates at training.

“Rama and Moleko are recuperating well,” continues Milner. “We are working in stages to get them back to full recovery before they could start with the match fitness program. Teenage, meanwhile, is involved in full training drills and on track to full recovery.”

Tsepo Masilela is still out with an ankle injury.

“Tsepo is also doing fine,” said Milner. “We are happy with his progress and we hope to have this phase of injuries ending very soon.”
