Ex-Chiefs and Pirates stars on verge of Eswatini moves

Sources have claimed that the duo are close to sealing deals with Highlanders and are due for fitness and medical assessments this week.

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns defender Punch Masenamela and former Orlando Pirates midfielder, Thandani Ntshumayelo are reported to be in Eswatini where they are negotiating with Mbabane Highlanders.

Sources have claimed that the duo are close to sealing deals with Highlanders and are due for fitness and medical assessments this week.

Masenamela was fired at Masandawana for off the field misdemeanors while Ntshumayelo was banned after he was found to have used banned substances.

Ntshumayelo however had his ban lifted earlier this year and spent the last two of last season at Baroka FC but he was released when the season ended.

“They are negotiating with Highlanders’ new director Ally Kgomongwe and it looks like they will be signed. They will surely be an exciting addition to the side and could be the highest paid players in the league,” said a source.
