Former Chiefs defender Masilela undecided on future

Tsepo Masilela says he is yet to decide if he will continue playing soccer or end his remarkable career which has seen him playing in Spain for Getafe and Maccabi Haifa in Israel.

The former 34-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs left-back has already spent a season without a team, which has prompted rumours that he is about to retire.

But Masilela says if there is an opportunity to play, he will take it after speaking with his family.

“I haven’t decided,” said the left-back.

“All this time I have been spending my time with family. Because, as a professional, you don’t get much time to spend much time with them – it’s camps, traveling and games,” said the Witbank-born player.

“Once there is an opportunity I will sit down with my family, but if there are no opportunities I will call it a day.”
