Ian Palmer replaces Jesus at Super Eagles

Super Eagles have appointed former Maritzburg United and Chippa United coach Ian Palmer as their new coach.


The former Orlando Pirates striker replaces Antonio Jesus Flores, who was shown the door after a string of poor results.

“Super Eagles FC have officially appointed Ian Palmer as the Head Coach on a short term contract,” read a club statement on their official Facebook account.

Eagles are currently at position 15 on the log, with seven matches to go. Palmer will be looking to take save the team from relegation.

His first game in charge will be against Royal Eagles at home on Saturday, March 17.
