Kerr blames Leopards haters for relegation woes

Black Leopards coach Dylan Kerr is led to believe that there are people who are against the club and would like to see them drop in to the National First Division.

Leopards are not out of relegation danger yet with six games left to play this season.

Lidoda Duvha are a point away from dropping into the relegation zone on the log table.

They hope to get points from their sold-out clash with Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday afternoon.

Kerr believes his players are capable of helping the club move up the league table before the end of the season.

“I know what these players can do and I know what the fans deserve because the fans are going to be behind us. I don’t want the players to go out there and be too nervous or be fearful because it’s Kaizer Chiefs. Chiefs is a fantastic brand of football and one day I want Black Leopards to have the same brand and I want this year to be the start of that brand where we become what Kaizer Chiefs has become and that is a legend in South African football,” Kerr was quoted by LImsportzone.

“We have the support and we have the fans, we have a chairman who is very passionate. Everybody wants this club to be in the Premier Soccer League, apart from certain people but we got to do it and we got to do it our way.”
