Komphela likens Chiefs striker to a snake
Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela says Ryan Moon's ability to go to keep a low profile is what helps him to be more lethal in front of goals.

Moon scored the opening goal against Bidvest Wits last Saturday, but could not help his team win the match as they drew 1-1 with the Clever Boys.
Former Chiefs striker Lehlohonolo Majoro scored the equaliser for Gavin Hunt’s team in the second half.

After the match, Komphela was asked if he is concerned that Moon appears to sometimes drift out of games. But Komphela believes that [the drifting out of games] helps Moon to score goals for Chiefs.
“Top strikers score when you need it most,” Komphela told the media.
“When you are in a game, you have to be seen when you are just about to strike. You should not be seen when you are preparing. So that should be the sense of striking – you will always see him when he strikes.
“You will not see a snake when it’s searching and looking for its target. But as soon as it comes out, you see it when it matters most. It’s good that he is seen and not seen because if he is seen then they can monitor him.
“He is a natural goal scorer,” continued Komphela. “He has a knack for goals. I think strikers are like leaders, they are born rather than made. Ryan is that,” concluded Komphela.
