Maritzburg confirm Jappie signing

Maritzburg United have confirmed the signing of former Free State Stars and Golden Arrows attacking midfielder in Yusuf Jappie.
The 24-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Team of Choice.
Maritzburg chairperson Farook Kadodia is confident that Jappie will add value to his team.
“Yusuf Jappie has signed a two-year deal with an option for a further year,” Kadodia told the club’s website.
“There is no doubt that Yusuf is a quality player, with a lot of potential. The coach believes Yusuf is a player he can work with and help to fully realise that potential.
“He has an excellent left foot, he has plenty of pace, and is a versatile player who can operate on the left or right. We believe he’ll add great options in attack and we welcome Yusuf to Pietermaritzburg.”
Maritzburg have also signed Kwanda Mngonyama, Judas Moseamedi and Phumalani Ntshangase in the transfer window, and are currently running the rule over a handful of trialists.
