Mixed responses to Silva’s letter

After his damning open letter to Pitso Mosimane, Toni Silva has received some backlash from his former Mamelodi Sundowns team-mates, while some have backed his claims.

Silva labelled Mosimane as the “weakest” coach he has ever played under.

“We all know Pitso is arrogant and he does not accept nonsense,” said a source well-placed at the club.

“Some of the players were happy that Silva wrote that open letter because he spoke the truth. The players are afraid of calling Pitso out. One had to wait until he left the club to write a book because Pitso will annihilate you if you stand up against him,” the source added.
