Frustrated Ngoma wants out at Sundowns

The former Cape Town City winger is yet to make an appearance this season.

Phakaaathi has learned that Aubrey Ngoma is unhappy with his lack of game time at Mamelodi Sundowns and wants to move away from the Brazilians.

Ngoma joined Sundowns in December last year in a move that is reportedly worth R8 million.

After making six appearances in all competitions for Sundowns last season, the 29-year-old winger has not made a single appearance for Sundowns this season.

Now a source close to the players tells Phakaaathi that Ngoma wants out of Sundowns.

“He is not happy with the way things have turned out for him at Sundowns. When (Khama) Billiat and (Percy) Tau left, he thought he was going to finally get a chance to play, but the team has since bought (Phakamani) Mahlambi and Lebo (Lebogang Maboe), so the chances of him playing this season are limited,” said the source.

“He wants to play, so he will ask for a transfer in January. He is happy to go on loan somewhere else or even an outright sale to a club where he’ll have regular game time,” added the source.
