Pirates-bound Mncwango frustrated at City

The forward was told to train with the reserve team until the end of the season after signing a pre-contract with Pirates.

Sources close to Orlando Pirates-bound Polokwane City attacker Thobani Mncwango have revealed that the player is frustrated at the treatment meted out to him since he signed a pre-contract with the Buccaneers.

“He was being honest when he went to management to tell them he had decided he would be joining Pirates next season. He even thanked them for giving him the platform to showcase his talents and attract interest from a big team.

“He thought they would be happy for him because they always tell players they will support them on such decisions. But he was left disappointed as he has been told to train with the reserve team until the end of the season,” said the source who said Mncwango now can’t wait for the season to end.
