Pirates defender facing an uncertain future
Orlando Pirates are likely to put Ayanda Gcaba up for sale should they manage to secure another central defender.

The Buccaneers are said to have set their sights on a few defenders including Ajax Cape Town’s unsettled Rivaldo Coetzee.
Without revealing the identity of the defender Pirates are chasing, a source said Gcaba’s future at the club depends on whether Pirates succeed in getting him.
“The management are trying all they can to get this player, but it’s difficult. What I know is that, once they get him, Gcaba is definitely leaving. He didn’t perform well last season and it doesn’t seem like he will get any game time come next campaign,” said the source.
