Mntambo doubtful for Pirates clash
On-form Chippa United forward Linda Mntambo could miss Saturday’s Absa Premiership clash against Orlando Pirates because of an injury.

Mntambo was stretchered off the field in the 78th minute after sustaining an injury against Baroka FC last Saturday in Polokwane.
As a result, the Chilli Boys were forced to finish the game with 10 men.
According to the Chippa medical team, Mntambo will undergo a late fitness test on Thursday or Friday to determine the extent of his injury.
“Mntambo sustained a calf strain in the match against Baroka on Saturday where he was stretchered off. He will receive treatment throughout the week and undergo a late fitness test on Thursday or Friday,” read a statement from the Chilli Boys’ medical team.
Mntambo has been in superb form since joining the Chilli Boys in January, scoring three goals in six appearances in all competitions for Chippa.
