Sources in the ABC Motsepe League have told Phakaaathi that the former Banyana Banyana striker Portia Modise has come in as the new coach for Polokwane City Rovers.

Modise has been coaching teams around Soweto and the West Rand and her latest project was with Vodacom Next Level, where she was going all over the country scouting for raw talent.
“Yes, she is now with Rovers, we saw her on the bench during the team’s last match. There are nine games left to the end of the season and the team are riding high at the top of the table”
