Kaizer Chiefs target Emmanuel Okwi has not ruled out a move to South Africa, but insists that his future will only be decided after his participation in the Afcon 2019 tournament, which is currently underway in Egypt.
Okwi, who is a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Tanzanian side Simba SC, is said to have already signed a pre-contract with Chiefs and will be reportedly heading to Naturena after the Afcon.
Okwi, however, insists that his future has not been decided yet.
“For now I can’t speak about any speculations because I’m focusing on helping Uganda to go as far as possible in this tournament. But you never know with football, I can be in South Africa… I can be anywhere else, anything can happen. I can’t predict the future,” Okwi told SABC Sport.
