Sukazi rubbishes ‘nonsense’ TS Galaxy sale rumours

“They are pure malice that is aimed at destabilising that good that is manifesting itself within our project," says Sukazi.

TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has labelled rumours about the club being on sale as “rubbish and nonsense”.

This comes after reports emerged that Sukazi has put Galaxy on sale due to the club’s financial constraints, and that potential buyers are waiting on the sidelines to purchase the DStv Premiership side.

Sukazi, however, believes such reports are just part of trying to cause problems at the club, hence he felt the need to come out and clear the air.

“I’ve been asked the question about the sale of our club on a few occasions this week. Such that it has now become very important to state it categorically clear that the rumours that have been circulating are utter rubbish and nonsense that would ordinarily not warrant any of our attention,” Sukazi was quoted as saying in a statement issued by the club.

“They are pure malice that is aimed at destabilising that good that is manifesting itself within our project.”

“TS Galaxy has become a good alternative proposition to South African football since it came into prominence a few years ago. Our club has not been sold and will never be sold. There will never be any merit to the sale of our club at any point in time,” Sukazi continued.

“If anything, it would be a complete let down to the South African football fraternity that has been inspired by our project. We remain committed to serving football and our people to the best of our ability for many years to come,” concluded the Galaxy president.
