Mamelodi Sundowns have written to Caf asking the African football mother body to reschedule their semi-final first leg clash with Morroccan side Wydad Casablanca.

The match is scheduled for Friday next week, just few days after Sundowns’ Absa Premiership fixture against Free State Stars.
Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has confirmed that they have asked Caf to move the match to a day later because of their league clash against Stars.
“Wydad are aware that we are playing on Tuesday and the game is on Friday. We are trying to get the match played on Saturday,” said Mosimane.
It is reported that Wydad are not keen to play the game a day later and will oppose Sundowns’ request to Caf.
