Sundowns keen on former Wits striker

Pitso Mosimane has not ruled out a move for Egyptian striker Amr Gamal, who left Bidvest Wits after just half a season.

Gamal returned to the country last week to pick up his award as the Telkom Player-of-the-Tournament.

“We’ll see, he is a good player, you have to manage him well,” said Mosimane.

“He is North African, you know the mentality, you saw the fights with him and Gavin (Hunt). He reminds me of Eric Cantona… and if you have a player like that you have to accept the way he is and make sure the team also love to be seeing him.

“If the team can accept him, he is the kind of player we have to look at. But otherwise… maybe not. It is the team chemistry… You can sign good players but you must make them play together.”
