The striker has been one of the key players in the Arrows squad who helped the club make it into the top-eight after finishing on position eight this past season with 38 points in the bag.


After winning the Player of the Month for May, Golden Arrows striker Lerato Lamola described the 2017/2018 season as one of the hardest season’s he has played in the Absa Premiership looking at the competition in the league and some of the teams that got relegated.

The striker has been one of the key players in the Arrows squad who helped the club make it into the top-eight after finishing on position eight this past season with 38 points in the bag.

“To achieve something individual is always nice, but I have to give credit to my teammates and coaches. This was a very tough season I have ever played in my career, if you can see the way some of the teams have been relegated, it’s a pity for them. But there is nothing you can do, it is football you just have to soldier on,” said Lamola.

The striker is also Arrows top-scorer with nine goals to his name and he also has six assists.
