We need to start scoring goals – Kekana
Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana is less concerned about his side’s fixture congestion, the skipper is more apprehensive about Masandawana’s misfortunes in front of goals.

As the defending champions prepare to face the their crosstown rivals SuperSport United on Thursday evening at Loftus Versfeld, they go into the encounter at the back of six domestic games without victory in sight, having registered a single goal in the process.
“As Sundowns we know that we really need to start scoring goals for us to stand a chance of bringing our trophy back,” said Kekana.
He continued: “We need to apply ourselves very well in front of goals, we have been playing so many games – everybody knows about that – and as players we are only happy when we play matches. We can’t complain about matches, all we have to worry about is scoring goals.”
On the other hand, Matsatsantsa have only lost twice in the league this season, going 19 games unbeaten only to succumb to Baroka FC in a 1-0 shock defeat in their last league outing.
This presumably places Downs on the back foot, almost effectively making them the underdogs – a tag which Kekana welcomes.
“The underdog tag is good enough to describe us because the expectations will be less on our side and it will be a very good match because we will be expressing ourselves without any pressure. We are going to give SuperSport the respect that they deserve because they have been winning more games than us.
“I am quite happy with the team and the shift that they are putting despite the phase that we are facing. They are still putting the shift on and working hard. But in front of goal it is one thing that is letting us down,” said the Bafana Bafana international.
