Mosimane rated as the best coach in South Africa

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has made the list of the best coaches in the world.

According to Football World Rankings, Mosimane is the highest-ranked SA coach in list of top 700 coaches from around the world.

The former SuperSport United coach was crowned as the African coach of the year in 2016 after leading the Brazilians to their first Caf Champions League crown.

Other South African coaches that made the list are Eric Tinkler who led Orlando Pirates to the Caf Champions League and Confederations Cup final but unfortunately lost and only pick up the silver medal.

Gavin Hunt, Steve Komphela and Owen Da Gama are also in the list but are further down the list of the top coaches in the world.

The news of Mosimane being rated as the best coach come after Sundowns were listed ahead of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in the club rankings.
