Player dies after being struck by a ball
Marsonia striker Bruno Boban died on the pitch after he was hit by the ball in the chest.
Bruno, who was the top goal scorer in the Croatian 3rd division, was hit by the ball at close range while an opponent was trying to clear it.
Marsonia was playing against Slavonija Pozega, the game was stopped in the 15th minute when the incident happened.
Medical staff spent 40 minutes trying to revive the striker, unfortunately he passed away.
