WATCH: ‘Madiba wouldn’t support quotas’

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi airs a controversial if valid view on transformation in rugby.

Springbok skipper Siya Kolisi made some waves at the weekend after an interview with a Japanese news outlet Kyodo News saw him air some interesting views on transformation.

Instead, Kolisi advocates the so-called grassroots approach, where kids in townships are exposed to the game and nurtured through the system.

He was on a promotional visit to the country.
