I was driving home from work along the New Modder Road, Brakpan, on the afternoon of September 19 at around about 2:45pm, when this vehilce over took me at a massive speed.
Just at the next turn he had to stop for oncoming traffic and I ended up behind him.
Spinning around the turn almost knocking school children over in Mcalpine Road in Rynsoord and alomost running into a taxi, he just raced on.
When turning into Main Reef Road, heading towards Springs he overtook a number of vehicles and taxis where there are solid white lines in the road and the road bends. With no concern for safety what so ever, he nearly knock me off the road to end up only a few meters ahead of me and behind a truck.
That was when I had enough and took a snap shot as attached (photo right).
He is a reckless driver and did not even have his blue lights on.
I drove slowly on and eventually we caught up again on Paul Kruger Road where he was heading into Springs town.
Being a cop or not – that kind of driving is unacceptable, even if he had his lights on he still has no right to drive recklessly and put everybody around him in danger.
Upset but eventually safely home and after a cup of coffee I opened the new Springs Advertiser, and to my shock on Page 3, The Springs Advertiser, September 19 – the same vehicle .
Can you believe it.
The same vechicle. I definitely think this guy’s drivers license should be suspended.
Annoymous
