Longing for water pressure

Just when I feel that there has been noticeable progress from our council, I hear from a friend that he has no water pressure again in Leonora Road and many other people in this road are saying the same thing.

We seem to take a step forward then two steps back.

In Industry Road, in New Era, as one enters from the north there is a gigantic hole in the road on the left that has been there for ages and it just stands there with nothing happening and this seems like a Springs trade-mark.

Find a problem – then leave it.

It is ridiculous that we have to keep on asking you – the Advertiser – to bring it to the publics attention before anything gets done.

Does our honourable council think that by leaving these problems totally alone they will rectify themselves?

I really hope that Ace Phiri, our new customer care manager, is able to get some progress in our woeful town.

Please get those 200 000 ANC demonstrators to rather leave Cape Town – where there is great efficiency – alone and to rather come to our town where it’s like a proverbial circus all the time.
