Snoet’s mum recently lost a beloved member of her family and is eternally grateful for the treatment she received from the SPCA.
She writes:
I had a pet pig, Snoet, a cross between a potbelly and a kolbroek, which I loved for 12 years.
Three months ago, I noticed she started bleeding and with lots of love and care, she recovered but the last time was too bad.
I had to make a decision that was best for my precious baby.

When I phoned the SPCA, Annecia was very sympathetic and helpful.
The date was set for January 4 to have her euthanised. The baby I raised from four weeks old has left me with so many incredible memories, which are stored in my heart.
Hendrik, the driver who came to fetch her, was just as supportive and respectful towards Snoet and me.
The team that handled her did so with great care and love. Thank you to the Springs SPCA and your team.
Without the love and kindness you have shown Snoet and me, this would have been an absolute devastating event.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You were incredible.
