Soldiers for Jesus is an outreach ministry that shares the love of God everywhere we go. We have been doing this for 8 years and our ministry is still growing bigger and brighter. We do outreaches in our local community as Jesus sends all of us out with the great commission.

We’ve been privileged to do outreaches in difficult and dangerous places as well as healing the sick in hospitals. We give the gospel to those oppressed in all circumstances on the streets and minister to close knit communities.

Soldiers for Jesus has moved through many different seasons in ministry and it’s all to the glory of God. Up to date we’ve been blessed to have lead 57 000 people to salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our greatest hope is that we can continue to do so and grow and build the Kingdom of God.

The founding member of Soldiers for Jesus is Pastor Robin van Rensburg, who, after being healed from a wheelchair, met Jesus intimately, and from that day forward went out to serve in the name of Christ Jesus. Robin and me (his wife Clarissa) and son Neithan make up the small team that has the boldness to go anywhere to love and lead the Lord’s people to salvation.

“We are a family in love with Jesus, and being rooted and established in love, we go out and love others the way Jesus did, reminding them that Jesus loves them, and letting the Holy Spirit take over from there to minister to each one’s needs, always with the gospel of Jesus at hand,” says Pastor Robin. At Easter, we are reminded again of the amazing privilege we have to be called children of God. Out of love Jesus offered Himself, the perfect sacrifice, for all. He endured the shame of the cross because of the future He had in mind for us, and through His death, Resurrection and Ascension, He made a life more abundant possible for everyone on earth. A life more abundant right now.

Easter sets in motion the new covenant that we have now, and this means we can all have a personal relationship with God.

Lord Jesus, we honour You with our lives and thank You for Your devotion.
