SASOLBURG.- Consuming alcohol in the Bongani Mabaso Eco Park has been permanently banned.

This comes after the reserve has had to deal with vandalism, “a total disregard for reserve rules and filthy amenities on a regular basis. We also have to remove litter, beer – and other alcoholic bottles from the veld after weekends.”

In a statement Bongani Mabaso Eco Park said consequently a decision was taken to permanently ban the use of alcohol from the reserve.

“The situation will be monitored over time and additional measures will be implemented where necessary to ensure that the reserve is looked after by our visitors.”
