Beautiful Scars Renal Foundation (BSRF) non-profit organisation hosted a gala dinner to fundraise for an artificial kidney for Xolile Khumalo who was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2013.

The gala dinner took place on Saturday evening, March 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ackerville.

The founder of BSRF, Sinenhlanhla Ndimande, said during dinner that she appreciates everyone willing to sponsor Xolile to get an artificial kidney.

“An artificial kidney costs around R50 000, though we have not reached the target, thank you to everyone who has helped.”

Xolile also thanked everyone who came to support the gala dinner and her.
