Working God’s way

The Hebrew word for worship and for work is the same: avadah.

Translated in English as service. It describes the heart, place and function of the work God has given you and me to do. We are here to serve. So, if we want to work God’s way, we do so by serving.
Work as service, is an attitude as well as an activity which releases the goodness of God – goodness that is intended to permeate all disciplines of our society.

We really experienced the way God works by the initiative of Steyn Erasmus from Old Mutual that organized a race through Witbank and selected Jabez House as one of the points where the team had to collect their clues. They had to pay for every envelope before we could hand it over. Thanks for the teams that gave more than they were supposed to.

Thanks to Audeumis Private School whose pupils helped to collect blankets. They collected 68 blankets and delivered it to Jabez House for distributing it into the community. I want to challenge other schools to do the same.
I want to thank you, our partners who are working God’s way. Through your service we can provide in all the needs of our clients and more. We really experience God’s grace through you that keep on giving to this project.
Stay Blessed!
