Teams shine in the rain at rugby tournament

Witbank Ruby Club versus Meyerton Rugby Club at Patriot

It was an exciting afternoon of rugby at Patriot School, where two rugby clubs clashed harder than the thunder.

Witbank Rugby Club and Meyerton Rugby Club teams fought a fierce battle in the rain to prove their worth on Saturday, February 24.

The second team had their time to shine in the grey weather that cooled everyone down late in the afternoon.

Jack Manaso, Dumisane Ntshangase, Khensani Ndlovu with ball and Banele Phakati.

Many muddy tackles, impressive kicks and nail biting tries later, Meyerton won 33-26 against Witbank.

The first team’s game unfortunately had to be called off early in the second half, as there were too many injuries from the Meyerton side and the team could not continue. Witbank won 33-0.
