Carewest Foundation celebrates 22 years of empowering vulnerable communities

The Carewest Foundation marked a major milestone, celebrating its 22nd anniversary with a spectacular gala dinner at the Emalahleni Civic Centre.
The event on Friday, December 6, raised vital funds for 200 wheelchairs to support individuals in need.

Founder Steven West Luvuno expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m humbled by the overwhelming support. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

The evening was a testament to the foundation’s unwavering commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities. Speakers praised Luvuno for his selfless dedication to creating opportunities and fostering a spirit of Ubuntu within the community.

“To our donors, supporters, and partners, I extend my sincerest appreciation for your trust and commitment to our cause. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

Since its inception, the Carewest Foundation has made a profound impact, supporting 927 children and continuing its mission to create opportunities and foster a spirit of Ubuntu within the community.
