Kragbron rugby day a bliss as schools prep for new season

The friendly rugby day featured exciting games from Laerskool Kragbron, Panorama, and Ermelo.

Laerskool Kragbron recently hosted Laerskool Panorama and Ermelo for an exciting friendly rugby day.

According to Kepler Prinsloo, the coach from Kragbron, the games on March 10, which brought together the A and B teams from the three schools, were hosted in preparation for the upcoming season.

“The friendly game was to give the boys some much-needed match practice before the new season kicks off,” Kepler said.

He added that it was also hosted to enable everyone to sort their structures.

The event was not the first of its kind, and the coach hinted that it would not be the last, as they plan to host more in the future with other schools.

Coach Vincent Mthombeni from Ermelo added, “The games were really good. The kids were disciplined, and the people were so friendly. We are definitely playing with them again.”
