Future rugby stars shine as Duvhapark battles Balmoral

The three matches were part of the Nkangala Stream League, and Laerskool Duvhapark remains in good standing.

Laerskool Duvhapark’s rugby teams dominated the recent Nkangala Stream League fixtures against Laerskool Balmoral, producing strong performances across all age groups. In the U10 division, Duvhapark won 42–35 against Balmoral.

The U11 team faced a tough challenge and were defeated 0–38, while the U13s bounced back with an emphatic 31–10 victory. In the league standings, Duvhapark currently holds third place in both the U10 and U11 divisions, while the U13 team sits proudly in second place.

Coach Reyno Chiloane has been instrumental in this revival, ensuring that Duvhapark produces Mpumalanga provincial players each year.

His commitment, alongside the dedication of the coaching staff, is laying the foundation for future rugby stars.

“Our boys are playing good rugby, and the coaches are really working hard to build future stars,” Reyno said, emphasising the spirit of Duvhapark’s rugby journey.
