Louise Street Clinic brings healthcare to Saveways Centre

Bringing the clinic to the people.

Shoppers and community members had easy access to healthcare services when the Louise Street Clinic held an outreach event at Saveways Centre on September 22.

Louise Street Clinic operational manager Mmachego Makuoa said the outreach offered services including blood pressure checks, blood sugar screening, Pap smears, HIV/AIDS testing, and health education.

Hosting the clinic at the shopping centre made it convenient for people in the area, who stopped and got checked in their numbers.

Condoms were also distributed to the public to raise awareness for an HIV/AIDS-free generation.
