Teacher from Gekombineerde Skool Ogies appointed as national adjudicator
From the first drumbeat to the national stage.
A teacher from Gekombineerde Skool Ogies, Nokuthula Nkobolo, has been appointed as a national adjudicator at the Drum Majorettes National Championships.
The championships are taking place from September 24 to 30 at Hugenote High School in Wellington.
The school principal Herling Masuku said: “We are incredibly proud to celebrate Nokuthula Nkobolo, an educator at Gekombineerde Skool Ogies, who has been with our Drummies Team from its inception as a coach.”
The principal added that Nkobolo is a hardworking, committed and dedicated educator who is truly passionate about drum majorettes.
“She loves children dearly and sacrifices countless hours to help them perfect their art,” said the principal.
Through her passion, Nkobolo attended training as a judge, applied her knowledge and skills during regional and provincial competitions, and has now reached the highest level.
