A very successful Golf Day was held on Friday, August 1 at Witbank Golf Club, the ‘Johnny van Gent Golf Day’.
This Golf Day was put together by a group of successful present day businessmen who were guided by Johnnie in their youth.
Though these boys have grown up successfully they remain humble, never forgetting where they come from.
With the spontaneous help of 20 other corporate friends a good day was held.
Many fond stories were told on the day. Funds were raised for Johnnie and his wife, Rita, to help rehabilitate their son, Russel, after he had a stroke.
Johnnie sincerely thanks them one and all.
