Joseph joins the neighbourhood watch

FOLLOWING his arrival in Richards Bay, the town closest to the sun, Joseph the Amazing Saint Bernard has now joined the Meerensee Neighbourhood Watch.
Bred to dig people from the snow, offering them a swipe of brandy from the barrel around his neck and warming victims by lying on top of them, Joseph was at risk of unemployment or worse, drinking too much from his own brandy barrel.
But, scarcely two weeks on holiday and he has found a new vocation.
He closely follows especially all cooking aromas coming from surrounding properties and alerts every dog, cat and human within three blocks, if he detects the presence of his arch enemy Mr Chow.
He made it clear, though, that he is not interested in any cat activities as it is unsaintly to pick on anything not your own size.
