Chaos broke out at uMfolozi TVET College in Richards Bay this morning.

LECTURES have been interrupted at uMfolozi TVET College Richtek Campus this morning.

Angry students protested and chanted outside the Richards Bay campus, calling for the Student Representation Council (SRC) to be removed.

Their list of demands comprise the lack of study materials, National Student Financial Aid Scheme – NSFAS, and the lack of student support.

‘We are waiting for the campus manager Preashen Govender to sign for this memorandum, and we demand for management to act promptly,’ said student spokesperson, Buyi Zungu.

A memorandum will be handed over to management by student leaders today.
