Giving car guards an identity

Hundred car guards will be visible this festive season

WEALTH Marketing Holdings handed over 100 reflective vests to car guards in Richards Bay and Empangeni on Friday.

The kind gesture was to ensure visibility during the festive season, and separate guards from informal car washers.

The spirit of giving was part of the company’s community outreach programme.

‘With most guards without any gear to identify who they are, anyone just walks in and starts working and it cause lots of conflict. These vests will ensure they are visible to the public, and can easily be identified,’ said Mlungisi Mthembu of Wealth Marketing Holdings.

‘There are always fights in parking areas, and we trying to eliminate that during this time.

‘We want to make sure no chancers will interfere with their work and they can also make extra money for their families,’ he said.
