Covid-19 causes DolosFees postponement
Dolosfees fans will have to wait for next year to see their favourite artists

THE 2020 DolosFees scheduled for September has been postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Organisers confirmed the news, but said that Zululand’s biggest festival would be held with the same line-up next year.

Fans who were looking forward to seeing their favourite artists who had confirmed their attendance, will still be able to see them live at next year’s event.
Artists booked were Karen Zoid, Early B, Deon Groot, Jay du Plessis, Lianie May, Snotkop, Elandré Schwartz and Willem van der Ryst.
Elize Boshoff, who heads the DolosFees committee, said while they are happy to have retained the confirmed artists for next year’s event, they are nevertheless devastated about having to postpone this year’s DolosFees.
It is a big blow to local tourism. Thousands of festival-goers attend the DolosFees every year and it is a major highlight on the local entertainment calendar.
Many of the local guesthouses accommodate artists and out-of-town vendors – and this loss of income will heavily affect their pockets.
Regular stall holders, service providers and organisations such as the local ATKV, churches and schools, whose stalls at the festival generate much-needed funds, will also suffer financially.
Those wanting to be involved in DolosFees 2021 are welcome to email Elize at elize@dolosfees.com.
